Shibari Lounge Events and Workshops Terms and Conditions

The following policy covers all events organized by Shibari Lounge, including workshops, and applies to all circumstances. Please carefully review the following when booking.

 

By registering to attend a Shibari Lounge event, you agree to the following: 

Registration & Booking

You can apply for a booking only by registering for an event or workshop via our website www.shibarilounge.com

When your registration is accepted by us we will confirm your booking by e-mail. You will receive a message with instructions on payment to complete your booking. All bookings are valid for the named attendee(s) only and cannot be transferred to another person without our approval.

Cancellation by Participant

If you are unable to attend the workshop or event you have booked and paid for Shibari Lounge will not issue any refund. However you may propose a substitute participant. Please contact us for approval. We will then check if the substitute meets our criteria for this workshop or event. In case we accept the substitute Shibari Lounge will not issue a refund: you and the substitute participant need to make your own arrangements on possible reimbursement/compensation. 

In case you are not able to find a substitute Shibari Lounge is willing to address people on the waitlist, should there be one. In case your place can be taken by a participant from the waitlist Shibari Lounge will issue you a refund for the total amount of your booking. *read section “Refunds”

 

Cancellation or change of date by Shibari Lounge

In case Shibari Lounge needs to postpone the workshop or event to a later date, your booking will automatically be transferred to this new date. If you are unable to attend on this date, Shibari Lounge will issue a refund for the total amount of your booking. *read section “Refunds”

 

It may be necessary to cancel an event or workshop for reasons beyond our reasonable control. If Shibari Lounge is required to fully cancel the event or workshop we will issue a refund for the total amount of your booking. *read section “Refunds”

Refunds

Refunds will be made for the full amount of your booking, less any administrative, booking and transaction fees.

Refunds can only be made to your original method of payment. We cannot issue refunds to alternative accounts or payment methods.

Shibari Lounge shall not be liable for any costs or loss resulting from changes or cancellation of an event or workshop.

Terms and Condtions for all Shibari Lounge Events

All events and workshops organized by or in Shibari Lounge are only accessible to a select audience with a sincere and serious interest in Shibari.

The rules and regulations of the venue or event organizer must be adhered to. Non-compliance may result in being denied further admittance to the event without any refund.

Venue management may check your ID on entry and reserve the right to refuse admission if it doesn't correspond with the booking or required age limit of 18 years. Should you be refused entry we are not liable to refund you.

It's your responsibility to make sure your fellow participant has all the information necessary to attend the event.

You are advised to check if the event has a last entry time. Even ticket holders may not be admitted after this time or during performances.

To respect the privacy of our attendees and hosts, photography and audio or video recordings by attendees with any recording device are prohibited during all our events. During workshops photography of your own work may be allowed with the presenter's consent. Always ask permission first and make sure no other participants are in the picture.

Photo and film recordings may be made by appointed members of the event crew. Chances are that you will be in these images. By entering an event with an appointed photographer/filmer you waive your portrait rights.

The event organizer accepts no responsibility for any loss or damage to individuals or personal property.
