A Weekend with Kasumi Hourai & Akane REGISTRATION

Japanese leading female bakushi Kasumi Hourai and internationally renowned kinbaku model Akane will take you on a journey into the spirit and aesthetics of kinbaku. Kasumi and Akane are two rare artists who have each pursued kinbaku with a uniquely Japanese approach. Shibari Lounge is proud to host their first collaboration outside of Japan.

• Friday May 1: Full Day Workshop: Exploring the Elegance and Erotic Dimension of Kinbaku - Intermediary skills level

• Saturday and Sunday May 2-3: Full Weekend Workshop: A Japanese Classical Approach to Kinbaku - Advanced level

• Saturday May 2: Shibari Night Special Rope Party with Performance by Kasumi and Akane

• Monday May 4: Private Classes and Sessions with Kasumi Hourai

How to Register:

The Weekend consists of workshops and performances that can be booked separately or in event packages. To register, please answer all questions in the registration form. Tick the box(es) of the event(s) you are interested in. Within a few days you will receive an email* with all information on the Weekend (prices, event schedule, cancellation policy).  

In case we are uncertain of your skills level, or if we do not know you in person, we may ask for additional information from you or your peers.

Early 2026 we will send you an email to complete your booking. We will respect the order in which we have received registrations.

Only after we have received your payment, your booking will be complete and your spot will be secured.
