This workshop is for (play) couples who did the Introduction to Shibari course at Shibari Lounge (or followed a similar class elsewhere). You are familiar with:

Registration is per couple only. Switching during the workshop is not allowed.
If you are single and want to attend a workshop, we cannot provide you with a rope partner. Please try to find a partner at our Shibari Night, other rope events or put an ad on social media.
Essentials 1 - Floor Work
Explore the Essentials of Shibari in 4-hour classes at Shibari Lounge in Antwerp.
After the Essentials workshop series you will be able to safely tie several basic patterns, with attention on technique and aesthetics of course, but especially focusing on the experience you will have together with your (rope) partner.
In the Floor Work class we will refine the basic tools from the intro course and expand your toolbox with new elements. You will learn to mix and assemble basic elements to create inspired and meaningful ties.
We will also show you how to get into a “tying bubble” with your partner, how to use ropes, verbal and physical communication to convey your intentions as a rope top or as bottom.
Essentials 1: Floor Work is an excellent class for beginners to become fluent with the basic skills. You will learn start to tying from your creative intentions, and your own unique personal energies.
