If you're not exactly looking for a workshop, but would love to get feedback on your tying skills, we welcome you to our 3-hours Practice Class. Experienced teachers will check your technique and share their insights, tailored to your specific wishes. Your questions are the starting point. Depending on what participants bring to the table, every practice class will be different.

As a rope top you will be exploring your creativity to safely, effectively and aesthetically restrain your partner. Some extra skills will be added to your repertoire.
As a rope bottom you will discover how different manipulations by your partner and the ropes affect you. You will start to build a new (non-verbal) vocabulary to communicate with your rope top and stay connected during your play.

After this class you will feel more confident and have new inspiration to have fun at home or at rope events. It is perfectly possible to join in a practice class more than once. With new topics by different participants every time, there's always something to learn!

If you feel your creative fire has been unleashed, you’re welcome to join us at the Shibari Night rope jam the same evening!

For who:
This workshop is suitable for (play) couples who have participated in the workshops at Shibari Lounge, or picked up the required skills elsewhere. More experienced rope tops/bottoms with an interest in refreshing or deepening their skills are also welcome.

Prerequisites:
You know or understand:
- How to tie a single column tie
- The use of tension & reverse tension
- How to use basic frictions, e.g. half hitch, nodome/munter hitch, yuki fix, …

​Models do not need any specific physical skills. You just need to be able to communicate your wants and needs clearly and appropriately.

​If you are single and would like to attend, try to find a partner at one of our Shibari Night events, other rope events or put an ad on social media, for instance in the Shibari Lounge group on Fetlife.

You get a reduction for the Shibari Night rope jam the same evening.
