Improve Rope Handling, Interaction & Connection for More Meaningful Shibari Sessions

Shibari Lounge, Sergeyselsstraat, 2140 Antwerpen, Belgium
About The Event
When you begin your journey into Japanese rope bondage, the focus is often on learning techniques and patterns. While mastering safe rope skills is essential, Shibari is ultimately about creating an intimate connection between two partners. Whether your dynamic is gentle or sadistic, playful or meditative, sensual or explicitly erotic, the ropes are only one part of the experience.
This workshop is all about finding your flow together. You'll explore how to create a shared "tying bubble," even if you only know the fundamentals of Shibari. Through exercises in rope handling, body awareness, verbal communication, and non-verbal interaction, you'll learn how to express your intentions more clearly as both rope top and rope bottom.
Rather than focusing on reproducing patterns, you'll learn to tie from intention, allowing your creativity and unique energy to shape each session.
This workshop is designed for couples and rope partners of all experience levels who already have a basic foundation in Shibari and want to deepen the quality of their rope sessions through improved handling, communication, and interaction.
You should be comfortable with:
Single-column and double-column ties.
Working with tension and reverse tension.
Basic frictions, including the half hitch, nodome, and yuki fix.
Full text and prerequisites on the website.
Price and registration:
