On Pink Japan Shibari Lounge will be the stage for performances that will take you on a trip into the kinky world of the Japanese. We will discover the sadistic, erotic and sexual sides of kinbaku we do not get to see outside of the Tokyo and Osaka nightlife circuit. "Pink Japan" will feature three 'connaisseurs' of the Japanese kink scene: Nawashi Kazami Ranki, Sin and Nuit de Tokyo, accompanied by the highly experienced kinbaku models TatiAna and Neko. They will be our guides to the sadistic and erotic sides of kinbaku we rarely get to see on stage outside of the Tokyo and Osaka nightlife circuit. In “Pink Japan” our performers will take their shows beyond the shibari we usually see at Shibari Lounge and present a more intimate and explicit interaction, a good sprinkle of kink and of course... pink.

“Pink Japan" refers to Pinku eiga or pink cinema, a genre of independent Japanese films that has no exact equivalent in the West. It emerged in the 1960s and dominated Japanese domestic cinema through the mid-1980s. Story lines evolve around several scenes of nudity (‘pink’ refers to the colour of the skin) and soft-core eroticism. Rope bondage, sadism and submission are often part of the repertoire. Pink films never got accepted as mainstream, but always remained somewhat underground and guerilla, much like the rope and kink scene still is today in Japan as well as in Europe. Kazami Ranki is one of Japan’s leading bakushi and a ranking name in the underground scenes of Tokyo and Osaka. He has been part of the kink scene for over 25 years, giving shows, organizing events and running his own SM group “Circle M’s” in Osaka. He is also a well-established teacher, having taught throughout Asia, Australia, New-Zealand, Canada, the US and Europe. Although nicknamed “The Atricious Nawashi” Kazami Ranki actually seeks to highlight the spirit of a woman tied. He ties the model to enhance her natural beauty while she feels the power of his ropes. Kazami Ranki will treat us to an erotic bondage and S&M show reminiscent of Tokyo’s Kabukicho nightlife district. He will team up with TatiAna who is known for her stamina and expressiveness in the ropes. Apart from being a masochist and fond lover of kinbaku, she is also passionate about Japanese culture. TatiAna has performed in Japan and with Japanese and European bakushi like Shigonawa Bingo, Yoi Yoshida, BeShibari and Sin.
Sin is one of few Europeans fortunate enough to get up close and personal with the kinbaku scene in Japan. He was inspired by and has performed alongside Japanese bakushi like Yoi Yoshida, Bingo Shigonawa, Ero Ouji and many more. This has given him a unique perspective on rope bondage. He practices ‘kannōnawa’, a style of deeply erotic and sexual kinbaku. His sessions are not about strict, clean patterns and technical details but all about the sexual and masochistic enjoyment of the ladies he plays with. Sin will perform with his regular model Neko, with whom he has a deeply erotic connection since they first tied in 2014. Neko has performed in Europe and Japan, where she tied with Ero Ouji. She was also part of the first Onawa Asobi Europe festival at Shibari Lounge, together with Sin. Neko is lithe, graceful, masochist and enjoys exhibitionism with secrecy.

Having studied kinbaku extensively in Japan he has been a regular in the Japanese rope community for years. He counts many Japanese bakushi as his personal friends. Speaking Japanese, French and English he is able to forge a connection between Europeans and the Japanese.
